Radcliffes Lodge

The Perfect Location for exploring Northumberland

Northumberland is a county of big adventures, breathtaking beauty and unlimited possibilities, the only problem is where to start?  Actually that’s obvious Radcliffes Lodge of course…

Amble is known as the “Friendliest Port” and Radcliffes Lodge is the “Friendliest Hostel”.  We are family friendly, dog friendly, group friendly, biker friendly, hiker friendly, cycle friendly and of course age friendly, but don’t just take our word for it, read our reviews and see for yourself.

With so much to do in this sparsely populated county you need more than one trip here but thats ok as we reward our returning guests who book direct with a loyalty discount. So lets look at what you could get up to!  You could discover unspoilt beaches, historical sites to take you back through time, vast landscapes to explore, and wildlife to make you go ‘aw’. Countless Northumberland castles jostle for attention – ‘proper’ castles with battlements and portcullises, ghostly ruins guarding endless sandy beaches, and ones that echo with ancient footsteps.

There is a plethora of things to do in Northumberland for history fans, hikers, bikers and romantics.
