Bamburgh Castle Golf Club
Often quoted as one of the most scenic golf courses in Britain and with views of Lindisfarne, the Farne Islands, the Cheviots and of course Bamburgh Castle, the course is one of the most beautiful golfing experiences to be had in England.
Alnmouth Village golf club
Established in 1869 making it the oldest 9 hole links in England. The course was designed by the famous Scottish golfer Mungo Park, winner of the 1874 Open Championship at Musselburgh. The view from that seventh tee is spectacular with the beach, Alnmouth Bay, the Coquet Island all visible.
Alnmouth Foxton Hall Golf Club
Established in 1869, steeped in history, Alnmouth Golf Club is the 4th oldest golf club in England. Although the course has a coastal location it has parkland turf and a reputation for the fine quality of the greens and superb presentation.
Dunstanburgh Golf Club
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle looming over it, the course is recognised as one of the finest in the area. The first golf course appeared on the links of Embleton Bay in 1900, before being redesigned by the legendary James Braid. A traditional links course, guarded with bunkers and gorse.
Warkworth Golf Club
Originally laid out in 1892 by the legendary Tom Morris, the current layout comprises nine greens, each with two very different tee boxes, providing a true 18 hole experience.
Longhirst Hall golf club
boasting two beautiful but different courses, offering the challenge of the American style Lakeland courses, coupled with the stunning surroundings of the Northumberland countryside. Both courses have hosted the PGA Europro Tour.
Linden Hall Golf and Country Club
Offering golfers of all abilities a stern test, the course boasts rolling fairways, strategically placed bunkers and subtly undulating greens. Presenting players with incredible views of the surrounding countryside.
Percy Wood Golf Club
This 18 hole, par 72 undulating parkland course is set within fine mature woodland and offers spectacular views of the Simonside Hills.
