Terms and Conditions

 

Check out: Departing guests must remove all their belongings from their room by 10.30am and the hand their key fob back to reception.  Late check outs will incur a charge of an additional nights stay.

 

Check In:  Each guest will receive a key fob for access in and around the lodge, and access to their room.  The fob is activated for the period of your stay only, and must be handed to the reception on check out.  Failing to return the key fob will incur a charge of £5 per fob.

Reservations booked in advance do not constitute a legally binding contract until the hostel confirms the reservation and provides a booking reference.

 

Age Restriction:  Customers under the age of 16 are only permitted to stay in a private room or shared room that has been booked for the sole use of one family, or a group of persons booked together and must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.  Guests under the age of 6 years old are not permitted to use a top bunk bed.  Customers aged between 16 or 18 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18, staying in the same room.

 

Payment policy:  All bookings are charged with a 20% deposit.  The balance remaining will be due in full upon arrival, payable by debit or credit card. We do not accept cash or American Express. If any payment under these terms and conditions are not met we may cancel your booking.  You will be notified in writing should this occur.

 

Cancellations:  We offer a free cancellation policy up to 7 days prior to your stay.  Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to your stay will be charged at 50% of your entire stay.  Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to your stay, or no shows, will be charged at 100% of your entire stay.  Cancellations must be in writing by email or letter.  We do not accept cancellations made by telephone.

 

Guest Behaviour:  Guests are trusted to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property.  If our staff believe any guests are compromising the comfort, safety, or security of our guests, they will be asked to leave the lodge immediately, and will not receive a refund.  We reserve the right to charge guests for the cost of any damage caused by negligent or unruly behaviour.  If any damage is found after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to charge the guests credit or debit card.  We reserve the right to charge guests for any items that are removed from the premises, and they will be charged for the full amount it costs to replace the item. Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the lodge.  There are designated smoking areas on the external balconies and outside of the lodge.  CCTV is in operation throughout the premises.

 

Personal Property: It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times.  Radcliffes Lodge accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage to property however sustained or caused.

 

Your Information:  Radcliffes Lodge shall only store and use the information you supply to us to inform you of your upcoming stay, and any other offers or services that we may make available from time to time.  If you do not wish to receive informations on upcoming offers and services, please notify us and we will update our records.  We shall not share a guests information with any third party without the consent of the guest.

 

Oversights and Errors:  Any oversights or errors made by us will be corrected by us without liability.  This includes oversights and errors on booking acknowledgements, our website or third party websites, invoices or other documents issued by us.  We will advise you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as possible thereafter.

 

Discretion: All bookings are subject to availability and Radcliffes Lodge reserves the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

 

Pets: Pets are permitted with prior arrangement.  There is a small charge of £7.50 for one dog, and £10 for 2 dogs, which covers the entire stay.  Pets must be kept on a lead in the communal areas and are not permitted in the communal kitchen.
